Well i think thats the fact that Half-Life Episode 3 was suppose to come out like a billion years ago and Portal was so short and people did get bored of it.

Maybe so, but it's obvious that more people talk of Halo over Half-Life, despite Halo's glaring deficiencies. So don't assume just because I'm comparing popular series that it applies any less.

No, Final Fantasy did not have first person dungeon crawling. And it is a better game because of it. Don't care if it is not a game as much as it is a series, I play them all at once as I am a Super Saiyan level 8.

I like how you compare John Fantasy's game to Hitler's friends. No, really, I do. Hitler had some things right. No, it is a stupid comparison in pretty much every way. If you think Half-Life is obscure, then you don't look at games much. Half-Life is pretty much a PC game even though it appears on consoles. Considering people voted Gordan Freeman the #1 game hero on Gamespot character battle thing I think he is well known.

You hear about Halo more than Half-Life because Half-Life doesn't have a couple of games out a year and a ton of other various media. Halo is also easier to play. So it has more of a mass appeal than Half-Life, which most people probably know for single player.
