midlife crisis and blah blah excuses. I've been indisposed for the last few days because of life, but I have part of the next section written and I'm working to finish it. But I'm busy all this weekend as well, so give me some time. I want to make sure everything's ready, from the sign-up post to the first couple of roleplay posts so we can migrate if we need to (and I imagine we might)

It's really fine haha, I can be pretty forgetful and terrible at replying too so no worries.

It's definitely an enjoyable book! I wouldn't not recommend it to someone. It's also a pretty fast read, I think I finished it over three days. Granted I was in school during that time and spent the better part of Calculus reading, but still. Maybe 250 pages? And not challenging language at all.

Aw I know the feeling, I took this break from reading for like two years without a good reason like being busy and I always beat myself up about it. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass are really good, I re-read them recently. I first read them when I was, I think, fourteen; I revisited them now that I feel I'm a bit stronger of a reader in terms of comprehending writing from that time period. Have you thought about reading short stories or poetry? They're good when you haven't a lot of time, just read a quick one in the little breaks you have. It's also nice because then you can let the stories salivate in your mind and really put thought into them--I did that during AP week when I was crazy jammed with work & school.

She also cited One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez as one of her all-time favorites, I got so pumped for reading it and ended up despising it. Disappointment. ;c
